Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Resolve technical issues for a wide variety of clients either in-person or remotely.
- Workstation configuration, installation, and replacement
- Computer hardware diagnosis / repair
- Network Router / switch / access point configuration and installation
- Advanced software troubleshooting and fixes
- Configuration and troubleshooting of printers and other peripherals
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot backups
- Some high-end residential services
- Assist with ethernet wiring as needed
- Assist with server maintenance and replacement/span>
- Occasional after hours work
- Participate in on-call rotation (after 90 days)
- Additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
- CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn
- Reliable transportation
- Windows, Mac, and Linux expertise
- Configuring and managing virtual machines
- Windows Server Administration Experience (Preferred)
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting networks, network devices, and peripherals
- Ability to solve technical issues independentlyYou must be dependable and professional!
Compensation
- $45-65k, depending on skill-set and experience
